I can still remember a Calvin & Hobbes story in which¬†our two heroes attempt to build a robot that will make the bed so Calvin won’t have to. In the end the bed never gets made as Calvin spent all day unsuccessfully trying to build his robot. I think it’s funny how humans will sometimes actually put in extra work just to avoid doing something tedious. What’s easier? For Megan to take three minutes to help on laundry day or to do her nails for the umpteenth time?
