Even though Megan got her info on the human brain by surfing the ‘net, I went about it the old fashioned way: I read a book, namely The Ultimate Book of Useless Information. It was a gift from my parents, who know more than most just how fascinated by meaningless trivia I am. And four terabytes is a gigantic amount of storage space. You could stuff an enormous amount of books, movies, music and other information into four terabytes. I don’t know if you’re old enough to remember floppy disks, but the 3.5″ x 3.5″ disks held less than one and a half megabytes. One terabyte contains 1,048,576 megabytes, just to give you an idea what we are capable of!
